United Way Day of Caring

As part of the 2026 United Way Day of Caring, Team NNSS invites employees and their families to volunteer with Spread the Word Nevada, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting literacy and providing books to children in need. 

Our volunteers will participate as Book Preps! Our efforts help make children feel special by cleaning and repairing gently used books that Spread the Word Nevada distributes every month to underserved schools. 

Thousands of children don't have books of their own, and we need volunteers to ensure books get into their hands. All supplies and instructions will be given on-site.

This day of service is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact, support local youth, and strengthen team spirit.
